Discover Cafe De Angelo: That Tiny Coffee Shop in Chapis Village

Cafe De Angelo by night

While you might miss the entrance to Chapis Village along marcos highway (the arch is next to Total gas station) you cannot afford to miss Cafe De Angelo, a safe haven from the bustle of Baguio, with rich coffee, food bursting with flavour and a kitchen full of heart.

An Instagram-Worthy Garden Haven

The first thing you’ll notice when stepping into Cafe De Angelo’s charming garden is the massive boulder beside the car parking spaces converted into a grotto. Your eyes then wander the terraces lined with lush greenery, the bench seating around the fire pit, and an inviting atmosphere with roofed cabanas making it a picture-perfect backdrop for your next Instagram post. Inside there’s a black and white mural art encapsulating the vibe and even a chandelier made from a coffee pot!  Wherever you’ve chosen to sit and sip, you’ll feel transported to a place that is both relaxing and visually delightful.

High Quality Coffee

Coffee lovers will appreciate the attention to quality in every cup. Featuring their own signature blends of local coffee beans, brewed with care and served just right, their coffee highlights the flavors that make Baguio a haven for caffeine enthusiasts. From strong espressos to dirty horchatas, Cafe De Angelo has something for every coffee mood.

Hearty Servings with a Local Twist

The food here goes beyond your standard café fare. Each plate is generous in serving size—perfect for sharing or satisfying a big appetite. My favourite orders are the baked chicken sandwich, the Salisbury steak and absolute king of pastas; the Pimienta Negra. It is made with kiniing, a Cordilleran smoked and sundried pork that is very similar to bacon. It’s a balance of comfort and creativity, leaving you full, happy, and curious to try more from the menu on your next trip
