Alam Mo Ba Baguio

The Walking Tour Incubator with Gabe Mercado

We’re opening up slots for our Walking Tour Incubator tomorrow!

That’s 5 scholarship slots for local Baguio folk and 5 paid slots for anyone else from out of town and/or who have the ability to pay.

Why are we doing this?

Because we want to use the tools of incubator programs and hackathons to create an experience instead of an app or a product or service.

We want to share about our city not from the point of view of the usual tourist destinations but from the stories of locals and those with quirky obsessions.

We want to build experiences that get people talking and interacting and building things together again.

We want to be part of the walking tour culture that many cities all over the world have.

And we’re opening the method up for others to design and prototype their own walking tours that they can run themselves. Who knows? Baguio with its easy weather, visitor traffic, historic and interesting spots and wealth of stories just could become the walking tour hotspot in this part of the world!
