OVERVIEW
The 16th Tam-Awan International Arts Festival (TIAF) 2026 invites artists to participate in a special exhibition inspired by this year’s festival theme, PANAGTITIPON: Obra ken Tawid.
The exhibition seeks artworks that celebrate the Filipino spirit of gathering, community, and shared cultural heritage. Artists are encouraged to submit works depicting Filipino community gatherings and cultural traditions such as fiestas, cañao, traditional weddings, bayanihan, family reunions, cultural festivals, and other expressions of communal life.
Through art, the exhibition aims to honor the traditions, stories, and collective experiences that continue to connect communities across generations.
ELIGIBILITY
* Open to all artists and galleries
* Open to artist groups and collectives
* All visual art media are welcome
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must submit the following:
* Photograph of the artwork for screening
* Artist Name
* Artwork Title
* Medium
* Artwork Dimensions
GUIDELINES
* Artworks must be exhibition ready and ready for hanging theme: PANAGTITIPON: Obra ken Tawid
* Any media is accepted, sculpture, photography, paintings etc.
* Strictly 24″ x 24″ in size
* Artwork may be submitted with or without frame
* Selected artworks will be included in the official exhibition of the 16th Tam-Awan International Arts Festival
TIMELINE
Deadline for Screening: September 7, 2026
Deadline for Physical Submission: October 7, 2026
