Women of Influence

An Uplifting Night with Baguio’s Women of Influence

In celebration of Women’s Month in Baguio City, a quiet, powerful gathering brought together some of the region’s most inspiring digital voices for an evening of connection, storytelling, and shared purpose.

Hosted by Alam Mo Ba Baguio in collaboration with The Shared Table, Gypsy Wagon Food Truck, and Four Quarters Baguio, Women of Influence was a reflection of how community, creativity, and collaboration can uplift women’s voices in the city.

Among those in attendance were some of Baguio’s most recognizable content creators and personalities: Maricon Baguio Girl, DJ Kim Meadows, Mommy Wren, and Dawn Castillo, the reigning Miss Universe PH Benguet – Charity and former Miss Baguio Kultura (2024). Each brings her own audience, voice, and advocacy, collectively shaping the digital and cultural landscape of the region.

The evening featured the relaunch of Gypsy Wagon Food Truck’s Mexican menu, a vibrant spread that captured both comfort and bold flavor. Guests enjoyed standout dishes including Birria QuesaTacos, Sloppy Nachos, Sausage Con Carne, and their award-winning chili con carne. An experience that was as indulgent as it was memorable.

As the evening unfolded, guests were serenaded by local artist Chantal Salonga, whose performances, including her original Mamayapa set a reflective and intimate tone for what followed.

The heart of the night came in a more personal setting, as Mikay from The Shared Table facilitated a guided conversation centered on women’s experiences, challenges, and triumphs. In a safe and welcoming space, stories were shared with honesty; moments of struggle met with empathy, and achievements met with genuine celebration. There were tears, laughter, and above all, a deep sense of solidarity.

Held within the warm, inviting spaces of Four Quarters Baguio, the evening served as a reminder that influence is not only measured in followers, but in the ability to uplift others.

Alam Mo Ba Baguio extends its gratitude to all collaborators and participants who made the evening possible—and invites the community to continue supporting local businesses and voices that champion connection and empowerment.
