Valencia’s Restaurant is seeking a full time Receptionist / Cashier for their front of house.

Overview:
To warmly welcome guests from the moment they walk in. Ensuring a great client experience while managing transactions accurately and effectively. Answer phone and in-person queries, reservations, and seating arrangements. Maintain high levels of service and add to the overall success of the restaurant, you will collaborate closely with other team members.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.
-Accurately process payments for food and beverages using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
-Assist customers with placing orders if necessary, ensuring accuracy and attentiveness to special requests or dietary restrictions.
-Handle reservation inquiries, confirm reservations, and manage seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
-Respond to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email regarding menu items, restaurant policies, and general information about the establishment.

Skills Required:
-K-12 Curriculum graduate.
-Experience as a Receptionist/Cashier or in a similar role.
-Experience operating a cash register and using ordering systems.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Extroverted personality: Customer satisfaction-oriented mindset
