Overview:
The Field Marketing Officer is responsible for promoting and expanding the company’s consumer products such as condiments, salt, flour, and other grocery items in assigned areas. The role involves visiting retail stores, wholesalers, and distributors to ensure product visibility, availability, and proper merchandising. The officer also implements marketing activities, gathers market feedback, monitors competitors, and supports sales efforts to achieve company targets and brand growth.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities: Field Marketing Officer
Market Development
Promote and expand the distribution of company products within assigned territories.
Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
Product Promotion and Merchandising
Ensure proper product display, visibility, and availability in stores.
Implement marketing activities, such as product sampling, in-store promotions, and brand awareness campaigns.
Sales Support
Assist in achieving sales targets by coordinating with sales representatives and distributors.
Monitor product performance and provide feedback on sales trends and customer preferences.
Market Research and Competitor Monitoring
Gather and analyze data on pricing, promotions, and competitors’ activities.
Provide regular market reports and recommendations to management.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with clients, store owners, and distributors to ensure continued business growth.
Address customer concerns and coordinate resolutions with the sales and logistics teams.
Brand Representation
Uphold the company’s brand image through professional conduct and consistent field presence.
Act as a point person for product information and brand communication in the assigned area.
Documentation and Reporting
Prepare daily or weekly activity and accomplishment reports.
Ensure timely submission of required documents such as sales updates, client feedback, and expense reports.
Market Development
