Wright Park Hotel seeks a Safety and Security Associate

Overview:
As Safety and Security Associate for Wright Park Hotel, you are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and employees. This include:
Security Patrols & Monitoring:
Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, both interior and exterior, to identify and deter potential security threats.
Actively monitor the hotel's CCTV system, identifying and reporting suspicious activity or security breaches.
Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, including disturbances, safety hazards, theft, and unauthorized access.
Maintain detailed logs of security observations, incidents, and actions taken.
Enforce hotel security policies and procedures.
Collaborate with law enforcement and other emergency services as needed.
Report equipment malfunctions or system issues to management.
Maintain confidentiality of security footage and information.
Assist with lost and found items.
Incident Response:
Assess security situations, determine appropriate actions, and take necessary steps to mitigate risks.
Provide assistance to guests and employees in emergency situations.
Secure crime scenes and preserve evidence.
Prepare incident reports and other documentation.
Access Control:
Monitor access points to the hotel, verifying identification and ensuring authorized access only.
Control and manage keys and access cards.
Guest Service and Concierge Support:
Provide directions, hotel information, and local recommendations when needed
Escort guests or VIPs when required, ensuring comfort and safety
Handle guest complaints or concerns tactfully to appropriate department
Other Responsibilities:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security best practices and relevant regulations.
Assist the SST Manager in the conduct of security training for hotel staff as needed.
And other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the management to achieve efficiency and effectiveness, thereby ensuring customer delight at all times.

Educational Requirements:
Graduate of any 4-year course OR at least High School Graduate with relevant years of experience in Security Operations (Criminology, Security Management, or related field is an advantage
With a valid License to Exercise Security Profession (LESP) issued by SOSIA is an advantage (Security Guard LESP or Security Officer LESP)
Computer literate (MS Office, Email etiquette, report writing)
Can communicate clearly and professionally (verbal and written)
Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and critical thinking
High level of confidentiality and integrity; willing to sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
Preferably trained in or willing to undergo training on:
Basic First Aid / Basic Life Support
Basic Radio Communication (NTC radio operator/handler permit is an advantage)
Basic Firefighting and Emergency Response
Customer service and de-escalation techniques
