ACTING 101 FOR ADULTS — A NEW BATCH BEGINS (update: class moved to Sept. 21 - October 16, 2026)
This time, we begin with the role.
Drawing from the work and ideas of Stanislavski, Strasberg, Adler, Meisner, Eric Morris, and others, we explore the actor’s craft step by step: learning to listen, respond truthfully, make choices, inhabit a character, work with a scene partner, and ultimately bring a performance to life.
This is a workshop for adults who want to experience acting seriously and practically—whether you’ve always wanted to try it, are returning to acting after some time away, or simply want to understand what it means to build a role from the inside out.
No previous acting experience is required, and you don’t have to want to become an actor. Acting is also an exploration of presence, attention, imagination, empathy—and the courage to be seen.
New batch begins September 21
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays | 6:00–7:30 PM
